In memoriam Chet Baker Trio
The band mostly elaborates on songs played by the legendary trumpet player Chet Baker, but there are also their own pieces on the repertoire.
Márk Miskolczi
My name is Márk Miskolczi, I was born in 1987 in Budapest. Between 2007 and 2009 I strengthened the Faculty of Chemistry and Bioengineering of the Budapest University of Technology, then in 2010 I was admitted to the Department of Biology of the Eötvös Lóránt University of Science. From 2009 to 2012, I was a student of the ETŰD School of Music and the Secondary School of Music, where my teacher was Péter Nagy. Then in 2012 I was admitted to the jazz bass department of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, where I obtained first a Bechelor and then a Master’s degree under the supervision of Tibor Csuhaj-Barna. I regularly participate in the Thália and Mikszáth Theaters. I am a member of Silence Fiction and BG5. My most important concerts are also related to these bands, I played with the BG5 band on the World Music Day at Bartók Radio, and later at the Academy of Music, where our guest was Mihály Borbély. I also played at the Academy of Music with my band called Silence Fiction, where the guests were Károly Binder and Mihály Borbély. I had the good fortune to play together with Al di Meola and Tamás Szarka as part of a production, and I helped out and toured with the Budapest Jazz Orchestra several times.
